The Southern California Manufacturing Group (SCMG) is a consortium of manufacturing companies dedicated to improving our performance, profitability and overall value. SCMG meets regularly to network, share ideas and develop solutions to aid our companies in order to achieve our ultimate goal of World Class Supplier status. The solutions we develop are intended to be used by the group to permanently improve our firms' operational and financial performance. In some cases these solutions lead to the development of new business models and entities for the benefit of the group and the industries we serve. The current group of six Southern California manufacturing companies have been meeting since April of 2004. Since that time each of the member companies have made great progress toward the development of our core business practices. The customers we serve expect their key suppliers to provide more than parts; and the industry as a whole is becoming more demanding each year. Each of our member companies are actively working to offer the customer better solutions through total supply chain management. The associationship that the SCMG offers has allowed the members to help each other manage the growth and share the best practices of each of the businesses; so that together, each firm is stronger.
