TRUST

This is the foundation of our group and is created by honest, fair and reasonable actions by our members. It is our confidence in each other. All of us must lead by example. Members are trusted and do the right thing in support of each other and our group. It is the trust that allows the complete sharing and participation by our members.

COMMITMENT / PERFORMANCE

Members must make a commitment to help each other and help themselves. This is our promise to perform. Without commitment, change cannot occur. Commitments help us execute our goals and allow peers to hold each other accountable. The performance of our group is measured by our standards and by comparing our companies to each other.

CHANGE

Members of our group must not only be open to change, they must actively encourage it in their organizations. The ability to change quickly to the industries needs is a competitive advantage and helps drive profit and value in our organizations. SCMG members should be focused on all change that leads to improvement of their processes in order to become world class. Change is necessary to stay on top and be competitive.

PROFIT/ VALUE

Members are committed to helping increase the profitability of our companies. Increasing our profitability will in turn increase our company's value. As we develop innovative, reliable and standardized ways to manufacture our products we achieve greater productivity. This translates to real value for our customers. They understand that in addition to providing quality products at the right price, we must offer innovative solutions. To do this, we need to be better prepared than our competitors.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We are expected to be responsible for our decisions and our actions while supporting our own business strategies. We are accountable to our peers, our customers, and to our community. Accountability drives change. We are accountable to our peers in terms of the commitments that we make.

SHARING / PARTICIPATION / RESPONSIVENESS

An effective group requires that the members share their experiences, both good and bad. This sharing will allow others to learn from it as well as stimulate feedback that can help. Without the participation from our members the group has no value. It is the participation that makes the group meaningful.

FRIENDSHIP

As a result of our common goals, values, businesses, time, effort and caring for one another SCMG members form bonds with each other. We are supportive of each other and are there for each other in times of crisis. Members are loyal and share their personal successes and failures. A true sense of camaraderie exists amongst the group members which makes our time together more enjoyable.
